The cotton we use is GOTS certified ORGANIC cotton. It does start off just a bit stiffer than non-organic cotton. However, I think you will find that after a couple washes, it will be just as soft or softer than your other Muslin swaddle blankets. Plus it has the added benefit of being better for your kids, the environment, and the workers that helped make it.
